Regional head office of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) in Sindh. RMC, Karachi started its function soon after the partition of the subcontinent and controls all Meteorological Observatories, Meteorological Watch Offices (MWO), and Meteorological Offices (MO) across Sindh. It provides provincial/district weather forecasts and warnings to the public and media.
