Regional Meteorological Center Quetta, Balochistan

Gradually, the role of the office was extended, and it received the status of Regional Meteorological Center in 2016. Now, the centre controls various observatories all around the province and provides services related to Weather, Forecast, Climate, Seismic activities, and Ozone Layer.

About Us

The Climate Data Processing Centre (CDPC) was established within the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) in September 1988. Located at Meteorological Complex, Karachi, the centre manages storage, processing, retrieval, printing, and supply of climatological and meteorological data to numerous end users. It is operated by trained meteorological personnel for both local and foreign users.
